2026 Events & Exhibitions
We take part in various local events throughout the year. There are new events to try as well as our regular tried and trusted shows. Below are a selection of upcoming dates, which will be updated throughout the seasons. Our cards can also be purchased from various small independent shops over Aberdeenshire.

RARE Makers Market
A new event which we are very excited to be part of. Visit RARE Makers Markets across the Shire and Moray over the summer months. We will be part of the Inverurie Market at the Garioch Heritage Centre on 9th May, 10am-4pm. For further information visit www.raremakersmarket.co.uk

Summer Exhibition at the Bennachie Visitor Centre
A place very close to our heart! We will be holding an exhibition at the Visitor Centre at the foot of iconic Bennachie, Aberdeenshire. The Visitor Centre is a welcome stop off for coffee and cake with a gift shop and toilets after your wanderings up the hill or through the forest paths. Car parking and picnic tables on site. North East Open Studios
A popular 9 day event as we step into the Autumn season. We are one of 4 artists/creatives at the stunning Kemnay House Gallery in the centre of Kemnay from 12-20 September. This year Alex Burnett Art, Kathryn McFarlane Art, Joanna Greenwood and Nik Munro will be excited to meet visitors, old and new, in the Gallery rooms of Kemnay House. Opening times and details of each artist taking part will be detailed in the yellow book which begins circulation in August. Royal Highland Show Presidential Selection 2026
A spectacular agricultural event which takes place in Edinburgh every June.
The Royal Highland Show is the flagship event of Scottish charity the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland. The 4 day event, first held in 1822, is the pinnacle of the agricultural calendar.
Each year tens of thousands of visitors come to the Royal Highland Show to experience the best of farming, food and rural life.
The Show offers a great day out for all the family, with something for everyone to enjoy. Showcasing the finest displays of Scotland’s livestock, machinery and technical innovation, produce, equine displays, countryside pursuits and educational workshops.
There is a fantastic programme of music and entertainment to enjoy along with a plethora of Scottish produce to sample in Scotland's Larder!
This year the spotlight is on Aberdeenshire, and Nik will be part of the NEOS team, promoting the wide variety of creatives and heritage crafts to be found in the northeast of Scotland.
